Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM), as a public higher education institution, is committed to safeguarding the personal privacy of its stakeholders. This includes, but is not limited to, information previously collected during your application, enrollment, and student life at PLM. Personal data collected by PLM through its digital platforms and services are stored and processed primarily on Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud servers. These servers are located in data centers situated in the Philippines or in other regions as necessary to ensure performance, reliability, and data protection. AWS maintains globally distributed data centers including those in Southeast Asia, the United States, Europe, and other strategic locations.

The primary storage location of your personal data is typically within the AWS Asia Pacific (Philippines or Singapore) Region, with secure backups stored in other AWS regions to maintain data redundancy and availability in case of system outages or disasters.

PLM ensures that all personal data collected is handled in accordance with this privacy statement and in full compliance with applicable data privacy laws, including the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173).
